Non Emulsifier Specifications and Details

NE-118: Non-Emulsifier

Use: NE-118 is a broad spectrum non-ionic non-emulsifier for use in acidizing and fracturing treatments. NE-118 is added to stimulation fluids to reduce the emulsion forming tendency of fluids with residual oil in the formation during or after stimulation treatments. The prime objective is to prevent or break emulsions in-situ before stimulated wells are put back on production. Such emulsions can block fractures and cause formation damage. NE-118 functions by reducing the interfacial tension between brines or acid and crude oils.

Temperature Limitations: Can be used across a wide temperature range, no lower temperature limitation on performance. Has been effectively used up to BHT of 350 F.
